Spring Trends No.1

Warmer weather is all about new activities. Instead of laying by the cozy fireplace, you can lay under the stars! Instead of eating cookies cooped up in the house, you can enjoy a picnic in the park! Along with new events, new nail designs come with spring as well! I will be documenting four nail trends so that you can make the most of your spring!

Spring time is all about being able to enjoy yourself outside. After this seemingly never ending winter, we may as well live outside. So, in order to make the most of the warming weather, your nail designs need to be quick and easy!

First tip!

Make your designs simple!

Forget the Aztec and tribal designs! Stop sitting there forever with a striper in your hand trying to get a perfectly straight line! That's what winter is for! In spring, it's all about mono-designs!

Mono-designs is not a technical term in the nail community, but it simply means that all of your nails have the same designs on them. In my last few posts, you may have picked up on this trend. It makes painting your nails take about five to ten minutes depending on the design!

Oooooooorrrrrr.....

You can use this tip in a slightly different way. You can do an accent nail. Accent nails have been around forever. They have recently been in the news as a hot trend, but many people have taken notice before that. You simply make a color scheme, so say pink, purple, blue. Then you paint all of your nails except one or two (typically your ring finger and thumb) a single color. For the left over nails, you make a simple design. Say cheetah print or flowers!

This tip can be helpful to anyone in the busy spring months. It gives your mind a break from having to think of new designs every week. Enjoy♥
