Nail Finishes ➊ⓞ➊

There are many ways to seal in your nails besides a clear coat.

Here are three of them!

Salt manicure:
This design works best with solid colors. Paint your nails any color. Before they dry, take some table salt and sprinkle it over your nails. This will create a rough texture. The salt will also change to match the polish. It looks very unique and takes less than five minutes! Just make sure you don't bite your nails!

Fluffy:
Some nail brands sell special top coats that "dry with a fuzzy texture." I don't find this to be true. The "fuzzy" parts are only confetti. They do not leave a fuzzy coat, they only look like tiny lines of varying colors. They are completely smooth. A better way to achieve a fuzzy coat is to purchase flocking powder. It is available at most craft stores. After you paint your nails a solid color, when they are still tacky, press your nail into the powder. It will immediately make them fuzzy and intriguing!

Rough:

This is the easiest technique. After painting your nails either a solid color or a simple design, take a sponge and press down on the tacky nails. The impression of the sponge will make "ripples" in your nails. It is a fun and creative way to spice up your look!

Good luck and have fun♥
