I've really been wanting to do a tribal design. And I've tried just uding toothpicks before, but the lines always came out too thick. So then, I tried making my design by outlining it with tape. That just didn't work at all. So then, I finally used nail stripers to create the intricate designs and that worked. So, for this design, you can use whatever nail tools you'd like, but nail stripers do work the best. Just sayin'.

This design is quite easy to do. I wanted to get a simple one to begin with and work up to more detailed ones.

But for this design, colors you will need:
-mint green
-lilac
-black
-white
-clear coat

Begin by painting all of your nails one to two coats of a mint green. Once dry, at the bottom of your nail, take a lilac polish and create a half cirlce. Next, outline the half cirlce with a white striper ans also create a thin white stripe about three quarters of the way up your nail. Next with a black striper, create a black line at the very top of your nail. Then, in between the two white lines, create a black zig-zag pattern.

Once dry, finish with a top coat to protect your design. ♥
